L&M Counselling & Training is a partnership between Laura Joanknecht and Michelle Green, bringing together over 20 years extensive experience in counselling, trauma-informed practice and professional training.
Our training is designed to support you in developing your competence without overwhelm—so you can deepen and develop your practice safely.
We are a CPCAB Approved Centre serving Kent & South East London and have a Trauma-Informed Teaching Approach.
Alongside our counselling work, we provide specialist training for counsellors who want to deepen their knowledge and develop their practice.

How long is the CPCAB Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling?

We offer two flexible study options to suit different learning preferences:
Face-to-Face Course (Bexleyheath, Kent)
Our face-to-face course is delivered part-time over 10months, with students attending one weekend each month. This format allows time for reflection, skills development, and balancing study alongside professional and personal commitments.
Online Course (Live Tutor-Led)
Our online course is delivered fortnightly over 40 weeks through live, tutor-led teaching sessions. This option provides the same high-quality trauma-informed learning making it ideal for counsellors who live further afield.
