With over 20 years’ experience in counselling, supervision and training, we understand the responsibility that comes with trauma work. Our training is designed to support you in developing your competence without overwhelm—so you can deepen and develop your practice safely.
We are a CPCAB Approved Centre serving Kent & South East London and have a Trauma-Informed Teaching Approach.
Our training is delivered by practising counsellors, supervisors and experienced educators, and is informed by frontline trauma support work.

L&M Counselling & Training is a CPCAB Approved Centre, delivering CPCAB counselling qualifications within CPCAB's recognised centre framework.
CPCAB is a specialist awarding organisation for counselling and psychotherapy qualifications. Its qualifications are developed to provide structured progression through counselling education and support the development of the knowledge, skills and professional competencies required for safe and effective practice.
As a CPCAB Approved Centre, L&M works within the requirements and quality framework set by CPCAB while bringing our own professional experience and approach to the learning environment.
For learners, this means studying a recognised CPCAB qualification with a training centre that combines the structure of an established awarding organisation with a more personal, practitioner-led learning experience.
Why this matters
Counselling training carries significant professional responsibility. The development of safe, competent and reflective practitioners requires more than theoretical knowledge.
Our approach is therefore to combine the requirements of the CPCAB qualification with experiential learning, reflection, practical application and discussion of the realities of counselling practice.

Online Counselling Training
We understand that counsellors and practitioners across the UK need flexible ways to access professional development. L&M Counselling Training provides online counselling training alongside our face-to-face training in Bexleyheath, Kent.
Our online programmes are delivered through live, tutor-led learning, providing opportunities for discussion, reflection, experiential learning and practical application. We aim to create an engaging learning environment where practitioners can develop their knowledge, skills and confidence while studying remotely.
Our online training follows the same trauma-informed, experiential, reflective and practice-based approach that underpins our face-to-face teaching.
